Three outcome boards from the CCA: Fashion & Textiles Course Hewitt completed in 2017 in fourth year of secondary school. This course was led by the Director of CCA, Francis McKee and Mhari McMullan. 

The artist had chosen to explore the theme, 'Fashion on the Ration' after delving deep into the CCA Archives. She paid particular attention to the lines and cuts of civilian garments and military uniforms popular during this time in history, used a heat press to print repeated patterns (such as the poppy) onto her chosen fabrics and examined slogans that have continued from this time until now. Hewitt also visited the @gsaarchives for inspiration.
